Hilton and Kalyani Group Plan Two New Bengaluru Hotels with 600 Rooms

Hilton has signed agreements with Bengaluru-based Kalyani Group for two new hotels near Bengaluru’s airport corridor: Conrad Bengaluru Airport and Hilton Bengaluru Airport. The proposed development will add 600 rooms to Hilton’s portfolio in the city, with 300 rooms planned for each hotel.

The hotels are planned for the KIADB Hi-Tech Defence and Aerospace Park, an area positioned to serve business activity associated with technology, aerospace and other commercial sectors. Both properties are expected to open in 2030.

The development is also expected to include dining venues, meeting and event facilities, wellness amenities and more than 72,000 square feet of event space across the two hotels.

The combination of two brands within one development could enable the project to serve different market segments. Conrad is positioned in the luxury segment, while Hilton Hotels & Resorts serves a broader full-service market. Shared destination demand can support a mix of business travellers, corporate meetings, social functions and leisure stays.

For the hospitality workforce, projects of this scale can eventually create opportunities across pre-opening operations, rooms, food and beverage, engineering, sales, revenue management and event planning.

Why this matters: The planned cluster demonstrates how hotel groups are positioning accommodation and large event facilities around major business and transport corridors.
